Notebooks and ETech

Posted by Mathias Crawford at 2:27 PM

There are a tonne of things going on here in the Signtific universe and as a result we have been a bit remiss in getting blog posts up as frequently as we'd like.

That said, here is a brief rundown of some points of interest.

On Signtific
Starting today you may notice a large number of changes to the site, especially in your notebook. We have always intended to make notebooks the organizing principle for Signtific, and this release brings us one step closer to the full functionality we envision for this part of the site.

From Signtific: "Your Signtific Notebook is your homepage for the future of science and technology. Notebooks are where you will now go to create signals and create forecasts. When the inspiration strikes, click on the appropriate create button and help create the future of science and technology. Notebooks also allow you to save and organize content that interests you, and to structure your ideas so that you can create signals and forecasts."

On Signtific Lab

Today we will be launching our third trial for the free space experiment. The trial will be launched by Jane McGonigal at ETech 2009 in San Jose, CA and will run until March 12 at 10am, PST. Go to the lab site for more information.

That's all for now, but stay tuned, and keep signaling!

Mathias

**UPDATE**
Jane has blogged about the game, so check it out here!

Thank you for having the time to share this. Hats off man!!

Not to say I agree with everyone on this one, but I appreciate you taking the time to post this blog. Thanks

This is not the first of your posts I've read, and you never cease to amaze me. Thank you, and I look forward to reading more.

I've got this page bookmarked now, you have served as a great present and future reference for me, thank you very much.

Kind of embarrassing to admit I did not know any of this before.. but good to know now :) Thanks!

I don't have much to say about the subject as I am impartial myself, but as far the format of your website, very nicely done :)
